MORAL CODE
1. Is remarriage after divorce acceptable while the previous mate still lives?
No.
Mark 10:2-12 - And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him. :3 And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you? :4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away. :5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept. :6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. :7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; :8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. :9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. :10 And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter. :11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. :12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.
Genesis 2:24 - Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Matthew 5:31 & 32 - It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: :32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
Matthew 19:5-9 - And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? :6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Mt 19:7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? :8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. :9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
Romans 7:1-3 - Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? :2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. :3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
1 Corinthians 7:11-13, 27, 39 - But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife. :12 But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away. :13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. :27 Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife. :39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord

John 4:16-18 - Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. :17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: :18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
1 Corinthians 6:9 & 10 - Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? 2. Are there any pleasures of this world a Christian should not participate in?
Yes!
Romans 13:13-14 - Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. :14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
1 Timothy 6:9, 10, 17, 18 - But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. :10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. :17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; :18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
Philippians 3:18 & 19 - (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: :19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
1 Peter 4:3 & 4 - For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: :4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
1 Corinthians 10:6-8 - Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. :7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. :8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

Luke 8:14 - And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

No.
2 Corinthians 6:14-18 - Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? :15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? :16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. :17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, :18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Romans 8:5-7 - For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. :6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. :7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Ephesians 5:11-13 - And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. :12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. :13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

5. What specific morals are a factor in determining one’s eternal destiny?
See the following Scriptures.

1 Corinthians 6:3 – 6, 18, 20 - Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? :4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. :5 I speak to your shame. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. :2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. :9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
