Where are we in the prophetic scheme?

Nearing the return of Jesus.

2 Peter 3:3, 4, 7 – Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, :4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. :7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Matthew 24:5-8, 11, 12, 29, 30 – For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. :6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. :7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. :8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. :11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. :12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. :29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: :30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Luke 21:29-32 – And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; :30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. :31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. :32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

With Psalm 102:16 – When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.

 

Daniel 12:4 – But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

With Nahum 2:3, 4 – The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men are in scarlet: the chariots shall be with flaming torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees shall be terribly shaken. :4 The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings.

And 2 Timothy 3:6, 7 – For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, :7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Amos 8:11, 12 - Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord: :12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it.

Joel 2:31 – The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-3 – But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. :2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. :3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Joel 3:9, 10 – Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: :10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.

Ezekiel 38:8 – After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

With Zechariah 12:6, 7 – In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem. :7 The Lord also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.
