WHY JESUS IS COMING

      Jesus is coming again to raise the righteous dead, to effect their full salvation, to reward them according to their works, to give them their inheritance in the earth, to fully regather the nation of Israel to the land of Palestine and restore them in faith, to exercise the wrath of God, to establish the peaceful, righteous and universal Kingdom of God, to rule over all nations with His saints from the throne of David in Jerusalem and to restore all things to their original perfection that God may be all in all.  

Jesus will come a second time... 

 "...this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven"- Acts 1:11 (Heb. 1:3; John 3:13)

 "So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation"- Heb. 9:28 (Rom. 5:8; John 3:15-17; 1 Pet. 1:3-13)

 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

 "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord"- 1 Thess. 4:16, 17 (1 Cor. 15:20-23,51-54)

 "...I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also" - John 14:3

 "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen"- Rev. 1:7 (Mark 13:26)

 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be...And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory"- Matt. 24:27-30 (Mark 14:62)

 "And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east..." - Zech. 14:4

 "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory" - Matt. 25:31 (19:28; Rev.11:15)

 "...the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom"- 2 Tim. 4:1 (2 Cor. 5:10)

 "For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works"- Matt. 16:27 (Luke 19:12-27; Dan. 7:13, 14) 

"And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be"- Rev. 22:12 (11:18)

 "...heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body..." - Phil. 3:20, 21 (Luke 24:36-43)

 "...we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is" - 1 John 3:2 (Rom. 8:29)

 "When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory" - Col. 3:4  (1 John 5:11-13; Rom. 8:16-18)

 "...the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints" - 1 Thess. 3:13

 "And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints" - Jude 14

"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be...Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come...Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh" - Matt. 24:36-51 (Acts 1:6, 7)

 "But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is..." - Mark 13:32-37

 "...And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ"- 2 Thess. 1:7, 8 (Rev. 19:11-16; John 17:3; 20:31; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:12)

 "...ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come"- 1 Thess. 1:9, 10 (5:9, 10; Rom. 10:9, 10; John 3:36)

 "...denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;  Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works"- Titus 2:12-14 (1 Pet. 1:18, 19; Eph. 2:7-10; Jas 2:14-26)

 "19  Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began" - Acts 3:19-21 (2:38; Rev. 21:5)

 "He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus"- Rev. 22:20
